Tigers split weekend matches

The DPU women's tennis team dropped its contest with California of Pennsylvania Sunday 8-1, moving them to 6-1 on the season.

On Saturday, DPU improved to 6-0 following a 5-4 victory over 10th-ranked Denison.

The Tigers took a 2-1 lead after winning at number two and three doubles and then won three set matches at second and fifth singles and in straight sets in number four for the win.

DPU will next be in action Friday as it hosts Farris State at 4:30 p.m.
