Ada Mannan

Ada Grace Mannan, Franklin, died Friday at the Indiana Masonic Home.

Born in Owen County, she was the daughter of William Emmett Powell and Myrtle (Keene) Powell. She married Truman L. Mannan on Oct. 12, 1940. He preceded her in death on July 17, 2004.

She was a homemaker and member of O.E.S. No. 369, Cloverdale.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandra F. Combs and husband Russell E., Plainfield; a son, Eddie G. Mannan and wife Sharon, Cloverdale; a brother, Harold W. Powell and wife Bonnie, Plainfield; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents, sisters Juanita Talbott and Pauline Larkin and brothers Troy Powell, Arthur Melvin Powell and Hubert Powell.

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with Chaplain Charles K. Stanley officiating. Burial will be at Cloverdale Cemetery, Cloverdale.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Whitaker Funeral Home.
