The Greencastle Chamber of Commerce is hosting its May luncheon, titled "Charitable Giving Can Help Your Bottom Line," on Thursday, May 22, during which time Phil Purcell will be the special speaker.

Purcell is the vice president for planned giving and endowment stewardship at the Ball State University Foundation. He has served as the director of gift planning for the Central Indiana Community Foundation. He is also an attorney and member of the American and Indiana State Bar Associations.

Those who attend the luncheon, which begins at noon at the Walden Inn Social Center, will learn estate planning tips, find out what to do if considering selling a business or farm and some of the facts about conservation easements.

Anyone planning to attend should call the Chamber office at 653-4517 by May 20.

The speaker is being sponsored by the Putnam County Community Foundation.
