Putnam County Jail

Several people were booked into the Putnam County Jail recently.

* Justin Grant, 21, Paragon, was booked at 5:21 p.m. Thursday for operating while intoxicated and out of county hold.

* Andrew Johnston, 20, Greencastle, was booked at 10:43 a.m. Friday for domestic battery, disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement.

*?Steven Kenworthy, 29, Coatesville, was booked at 11:40 a.m. for failure to appear.

* Isaiah Bowling, 20, Cloverdale, was booked at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday as part of a petition to revoke probation.

* Benjamin Ferris, 34, Fillmore, was booked at 10:35 a.m. Thursday as part of a court order.

Sheriff's Dept.

One accident was reported recently to the Putnam County Sheriff's Department.

*?On May 18, at 3:05 p.m. Rita Fish, 64, Coatesville, was returning home from a shopping trip. As she was pulling into her driveway she did not see Austen Stirling heading east on U.S. 36.

Stirling was unable to avoid the collision and hit Fish on the passenger side door.

Damage was estimated between $2,500 - $5,000.
