Putnam County Jail

Two people were booked into the Putnam?County Jail recently.

* Michael Snodgrass, 36, Greencastle, was booked Monday at 10:07 p.m. for neglect of a dependent and domestic battery.

* Juanita Haney, 36, Greencastle, was booked at 11:14 p.m. for neglect of a dependent and operating while suspended.

Sheriff's Department

Two accidents were turned in at the Putnam County Jail recently.

* On June 5 at 7:04 p.m. Clyde Boggen, 48, Indianapolis was southbound on US 231 when his trailer came off his tractor and hit a guardrail.

Damage to the guardrail was estimated between $750 - $1,000.

* On June 9 at 9:20 a.m. Richard Thompson, 64, Cloverdale and Troy Calhoun, 72, Quincy, were both parked at McDonalds near Interstate 70 when they both back out at the same time and into each other.

Damage was estimated between $1,000 - $2,500.
