McCloud offering 'Owl Prowl' night

McCloud Nature Park is welcoming guests of all ages to join the park naturalist for an exciting Owl Prowl on Saturday, June 28 at 9 pm. Participants will meet at the McCloud Nature Center to find out more about this unique animal of the night followed by an evening walk in search of owls in the park.

During this event, visitors will take part in a brief introduction to the owls of McCloud Nature Park followed by a 1-hour walk into the dark at the nature park. The event will be highlighted by an owl call as well as a search for other fascinating nocturnal animals. Visitors are asked not to bring a flashlight.

All activities are free of charge and open to the community.
