New principal picked to head Ridpath School

The Greencastle School Board hired a new Ridpath Primary School principal during a special meeting on June 30.

After an executive session, the board passed the motion to hire Janice True as the new primary school principal. True, the former Eminence Elementary principal, signed a two-year contract with the school corporation.

True was selected out of 21 applicants and will take her post as Ridpath principal at the end of July.

"My goals is to get to know the staff, students and parents," True said. "I am anxious to start working."
