Thomas Adams

Thomas B. Adams, 85, of Endicott, N.Y. and formerly of Greencastle, died Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Bridgewater Nursing Home in Binghamton, N.Y.

At age 19, he began his career at IBM in Endicott, and later worked at the plants in Dayton, N.J. and Greencastle where he retired in 1982.

He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, and Windy Hill Country Club.

He is survived by two daughters, Mary Barrett and husband Stephen, of Muncie, and Nancy Adams, of Endicott; seven grandchildren, two sisters, a brother and several nieces and nephews. 


He was preceded in death by his wife Jayne (MacLean) Adams in 1999, to whom he'd been married 56 years; a daughter, Sandra Shuee in 1988; two brothers; and two sisters.


Funeral mass was Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Endicott with burial in Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.

Arrangements were handled by Allen Memorial Home in Endicott.
