Mr. Kenneth W. Snyder age 77 of Greencastle, passed away Thursday morning at his residence.

Mr. Snyder was born March 23, 1931 in Tell City. He was a disabled American Veteran having served in the Army in the Korean War. He married Nancy Ann Snyder on Sept. 23, 1950 and she preceded him in death on July 31, 2006.

Mr. Snyder had been a journeyman millwright for 37 years with the RCA corporation in Indianapolis. He had also worked with the Putnam County Sheriffs Department as a jailer.

He was a member of the Brookside Masonic Lodge, Indianapolis and the Cornerstone Baptist Church, Greencastle, where he served as a deacon.

Survivors include his son, Kenneth L. Snyder of Greencastle; and two grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and five sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Central Daylight Time (2 p.m. Eastern) on Monday, September 29 at the Greenwood Cemetery, Tell City.

Friends may call at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, September 28.
