Event was big help for animals

To the Editor:

Scott and I would like to thank all who helped make the Saturday, Sept. 27 Humane Society event an awesome success.

Between the motorcycles and show cars, truck and Jeeps, we had a full house. The park's staff and Rod made this an easy task. Thank-you!

The young ladies who raised so much money for the animals raffled off two bicycles and raised more for the animals. You are special girls. Thank-you so much.

To the two volunteers that seen this through, Monica Sargent and Kim Nichols, you two are heroes, and God bless you.

And to Lou Love, I couldn't have done it without you, girl. Thanks.

And to our family that came from the other side of the state, thank you.

Dixie's BBQ kept us full, and the food was great. The music was perfect.

There are so many thank-yous to all the sponsors.

Thank-you, and we will see you all next year.
