South Putnam dominates Junior Varsity meet

The South Putnam junior varsity cross country team won the conference meet on their home course. The Eagles scored 17 points to get the win, while Cascade was second with 41 points.

South Putnam had six runners finish in the top 10. Leading the way for South was Jorge Cavell with a time of 20:16, followed by Tim Toland in second with the time of 20:41 and Shea Arnold was third in 20:42. Andrew Kelly was fifth for the Eagles in 21:26, with Matt Ruldolf finishing sixth in a time of 21:32. Alex Kelly rounded out South's top 10 finishers with a time of 22:51. Jason Norman finished in 12th place for South in a time of 24:16.
