Sheriff's Department

Jessica Phillips, Reelsville, was traveling southbound on County Road 775 W at 12:45 p.m. Sunday, when she topped a hill and was unable to avoid hitting a tractor driven by Michael Flaherty, Indianapolis. Flaherty stated he noticed Phillips traveling at a high rate of speed and was unable to move out of the way.

Barbara Schrock, Reelsville, was eastbound on County Road 550 South Tuesday, when she attempted to cross a set of railroad tracks. Due to the steep angle of the crossing, Schrock collided with William Funkhouser of Cloverdale. Both drivers did not see each other. Schrock drove her vehicle away from the scene. Funkhouser's vehicle was towed.

Robert Parr, Brazil, was northbound on Manhattan Road Wednesday, when a deer entered the road. He was unable to avoid a collision.

Seth Wade, Reelsville, was getting fuel at the Marathon station located at I-70 and S.R. 243 Wednesday. Wade pulled away from the pumps and to the front of the store. Charles Marshall, Poland, was attempting to back out of a parking space when he collided with Wade's vehicle.

Putnam County Jail

Three people have been booked into the Putnam County Jail.

Jonathan Matt, 29, Fillmore, was booked at 10:41 p.m. Wednesday for operating while intoxicated and on a felony charge of check fraud.

Chapin Manning, 22, Cloverdale, was booked at 7:54 a.m. Thursday on a felony charge of conspiracy.

Anjali Cohen, 18, Greencastle, was booked at 8:07 a.m. Thursday for public intoxication, possession of alcohol by a minor and theft.
