The Sheriff's Department reported one accident Thursday.

Ernest Scrougham of Cloverdale was traveling west on County Road 700 S, when he began to slow his speed to negotiate some curves in the road. The brakes on his vehicle locked up and he lost control of the vehicle. Scrougham's vehicle left the road and struck a Ford F-150 pickup truck parked at the Cloverdale Conservation Club. His vehicle continued through a cable and destroyed two fence posts before coming to a rest. Estimated damage was $2,501 to $5,000. No injuries were reported.
