Cloverdale JV wrestlers compete at invite

The Cloverdale junior varsity wrestling team competed at the Terre Haute South Invite Saturday.

The Clovers had one wrestler capture a first place finish overall, while two others were second and two more were third.

Tyler Carrell was Cloverdale's first place finisher in the 112-weight class. Brittany Hughes and Kurt Davis placed second at 112 and 215, respectively. Braxton Sinclair (215) and Josh Batchelor (285) were Cloverdale's third-place finishers.

Cloverdale will host the Putnam County Tournament Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
