Faye Eggers

Faye Eggers, age 71, of Greencastle passed away Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008 at her residence.

She was born in Six Mile, W.V. on Feb. 16, 1937, the daughter of Wilbert and Opal Hager Arthur. She was a homemaker and had previously worked at Mallory's in Greencastle and had sold Parke Lane Jewelry.

Mrs. Eggers and her husband belonged to the Christian Fellowship Campers in Brazil.

Survivors include her husband Elmer H. "Bill" Eggers, daughter Debra Hassler of Plainfield, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Daniel Hassler, daughter Connie Hassler, one sister and one brother.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 23 at 1 p.m. at Chandler-Hays Funeral Home in Greencastle with Rev. Dave Neeley officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, North Salem.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.
