Knitting for Nets continues

Tuesday, December 23, 2008

To the editor:,

I just wanted to thank everyone for all of your help and contributions to the Knitting for Nets project. Scarves are currently on sale at the Blue Door Cafe on the corner of Indiana and Walnut St. as well as in the DePauw University Bookstore in the lower level of the Union Building. They are still priced at $10 each--the price of one mosquito net.

So far we have raised nearly $900 for the purchase and distribution of insecticide treated mosquito nets. That is Nearly 90 lives saved by your hard work and dedication.

Thanks again to all, especially to the folks at Gobin United Methodist, Asbury Towers, and the Senior Center for all of your support.

If you have any questions about the net distribution or Knitting for Nets visit nothingbutnets.net or e-mail alisoncase_2010@depauw.edu

Happy Holidays!
