Tommy "Tom" Allen Harmon, age 66, of Coatesville passed away Jan. 3, 2009.

He was born on June 21, 1942 in Fort Branch to Thelman Albertus and Violet Alma Williams Harmon. He married Mary Lou Hoopes on Nov. 30, 1963 and she survives.

Mr. Harmon was a retired buyer for Allison Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and attended New Winchester Christian Church.

He is also survived by his daughters, Cammie L. Goldman and friend Mike Lawrence of Greencastle and Angela S. Clark and husband Tom of Elkhart; sister Phyllis Bailey and husband Tod of Princeton; brothers William Harmon and wife Helen of Evansville, Roy Harmon and wife Joan of Loogootee and Sam Harmon and wife Frieda of Loogootee; grandchildren Samantha Goldman and fiancé Joseph Monnett and Hank Goldman and their father Michael Goldman; granddaughter Grace Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Robert and Fred Harmon.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 8 at 11 a.m. at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
