SPMS splits with Cloverdale

The SPMS boys teams split with Cloverdale Tuesday night. The Clover eighth graders won 35-32, while the South Putnam seventh graders were victorious 39-24.

In the eighth grade game, Lewis Knoy led the way for South with 13 points, with Ryan Chestnut, Jordan Frame and Trent Workman added four points each. Nick Scott collected three points and Justin Bumgardner and Aaron Parker chipped in two points each

Sawyer Arnold paced the seventh grade squad with 18 points. Wes Riner followed with six points, Taylor Arnold and Evan Potts with four and Wyatt Nees and Hunter Barr with two each. Derek Chestnut chipped in one point in the win.
