Johnston leads Grizzlies at Rose-Hulman

South Putnam grad Shelby Johnston captured two events when Franklin College competed in an unscored men's and women's indoor track and field meet at Rose-Hulman Friday.

Johnston won the 200-meter dash with a time of 29.88 and soared to a first-place finish in the high jump with a leap of 5-1/4 inches. She also placed third in the long jump (13-7 3/4) and in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 9.46.

Johnston's time in the 55-meter hurdles set a Franklin indoor school record.
