Putnam County Farm Bureau Inc. has unveiled its new Web site (blog) located at http://putnamcofarmbureau.blogspot.com

The site will be updated often with current information from the world of agriculture. Current posts include USDA articles, legislative activities involving agriculture, American and Indiana Farm Bureau information, along with specific information on crop and livestock production.

Information on Putnam County Farm Bureau activities, along with pictures, will be provided as they happen. This will include Ag Week, legislative update sessions, Fair Week, and special ag meetings.

One of the important parts of this site will be the ability of readers to comment and ask questions. The site will also list various links to other ag sites of interest.

"The goal of Farm Bureau Inc. is to serve as the voice of agriculture," said Steve Cash, Putnam County Farm Bureau Inc. vice president. "We hope that this site will help educate and serve both farmers and non-farm citizens of Putnam County."
