Billy B. Jolliff, 64, of Greencastle, formerly of Brazil, died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009 at his residence.

Born March 13, 1944 in East St. Louis, Ill., he was the son of John Wesley and Betty Tweedy Jolliff. He was a United States Army Veteran, having served in the Vietnam War. He married Geraldine Borkowski in October 1962, and she survives.

Mr. Jolliff had worked as a brakeman with the railroad for 36 years, retiring in 2004 from CSX Railroad. He was a member of the American Legion, Order of the Eagles and the V.F.W., all of Brazil.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Anita Miller and Dawn Jolliff, both of Brazil; a brother, Edward Kirst and wife Rose of Festus, Mo.; three grandchildren, Broc and Ramey Miller and Sydney Jolliff.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Billy John Jolliff; and a brother, Johnny Lee Jolliff.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home in Greencastle.
