Student's art work still being exhibited at museum

Dylan Kenworthy, a second grader at Bainbridge Elementary, shows his pride for the art work that won him honorable mention at the Student Art Show hosted by Putnam County Museum.

The opening of the second Putnam County Student Art Show was a success with more than 240 people in attendance at the Putnam County Museum.

Winners were announced and all students received a certificate of participation.

Student's art work will continue to be exhibited through May 9, so be sure to stop by and see the display of incredible talent.

The museum again gives thanks to art teachers, students and visitors who helped make the show possible.

Winners include:

Kindergarten through second grade

Best in Show: Aubrey Barker

Award of Merit: Allison Shimpf

Honorable Mention: Dylan Kenworthy

Third through fifth grades

Best in Show: Whitney Weinshenk

Award of Merit: Lucy Hayes

Honorable Mention: Bailey Berish

Sixth through eighth grades

Best in Show: Bethany Zeiner

Award of Merit: Kyle Manion

Honorable Mention: Jacob Monnett

Ninth through 12th grades

Best in Show: Erin Ulrey

Award of Merit: Emily Wilson

Honorable Mention: Caitlin Fogel
