Dancer humbled by community's generosity

To the Editor:

I am in awe of our wonderful citizens of Putnam County!

Look at you! You come together as one body to encourage and motivate 12 inexperienced dancers to dance the night away and you are willing to donate over $25,000 to help the kids in our county!

WOW!!!

I am humbled by the generosity of the Putnam County Youth Commission to step into the arena to make this event possible. With the help of so many people, businesses and organizations this was such a spectacular event.

I, personally, must thank all the dancers and professionals for their commitments. Tim and Viki Tillotson, your time and love of dance made this night a lasting memory.

To my husband, sons, family, friends and sponsors -- Jim and Tammy Brothers, Jean and Denny Lents, Bob and Janet Clampitt, Murray and Sara Pride, Allen's TV, Tri County Bank and customers of Farmers State Bank, thank you for the encouraging words and monetary donations.

To you, Putnam County, bravo, job well done!
