Wednesday, April 15, 2009

Kim Fidler of the Indiana State Teachers Association has confirmed that an investigation of administrative misconduct has been launched at South Putnam Junior-Senior High School.

The investigation, which stems from the recent resignation of a teacher at the school, will be discussed at the next school board meeting, slated for Monday. The meeting will take place in the music room at Central Elementary at 7 p.m.

The Indiana State Teachers Association is a voluntary network of teachers and uniserv directors, such as Fidler, who represent member teachers in such areas as contracts, salary and dismissal disputes.

Uniserv directors are not attorneys.

Fidler represents schools in 16 corporations from Cloverdale to Lebanon.
