Charlotte Kathleen "Kay" Clodfelter Voris, 88, of Indianapolis died on Monday, April 20, 2009.

She was born May 21, 1920. She graduated from Rensselaer High School in 1938. She worked for the MSD of Washington Township for many years before her retirement.

Mr. Voris was known by many and a friend to all. She will be missed by her family, neighbors, friends and community.

She is survived by her sons, Stephen Voris and wife Betty of San Francisco and John Voris and wife Karen of Scottsdale, Ariz.; her daughter, Susan Seger and husband James of Oshkosh, Wisc.; her sister, Maxine Clodfelter Callender; five grandchildren, Jackie Fleischauer and husband Matt, Amy Voris, Molly Voris and companion Jesse Davis, Patrick Seger and Erin Seger; and three great-grandchildren, Max and Jake Fleischauer and Lily Davis-Voris.

Her husband Robert Voris and her brother Hubert Clodfelter both preceded her in death.

Family and friends will gather from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel, 740 East 86th Street, Indianapolis, followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. at the mortuary.

In lieu of flowers or donations, the family would ask you to make a commitment to help a friend, neighbor, relative or stranger just as Kay Voris did in her life.
