Helen M. White

Helen M. White, 79, of Bainbridge died on Wednesday, April 22, 2009. She was born on Oct. 19, 1929 in Madison Township, Putnam County to Albert O. and Lillie Stevens Frost.

Mrs. White graduated from Washington High School in Indianapolis. She married James H. White Jr. on Nov. 25, 1949 and he survives.

Survivors also include her children, Douglas White and wife Rebecca of West Lafayette, Janice Fry and husband Phillip of Roachdale and Jeanette Hammer and husband Mark of Greencastle; two sisters, Mildred Sims and husband Hubert of Williston, Fla., and Lillie Ann Porter and husband Harry of Greencastle; sister-in-law, Thyra Frost of Mt. Meridian; grandchildren, Jamie C. White of Greendale, Richard White and wife Beth of Lafayette, Marcy (Hammer) and husband Daniel Gallagher of Brownsburg, James Hammer of Loveland, Ohio, Matthew Fry of Lafayette, Jessica Fry of Roachdale and Kristen Fry of Roachdale; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, a brother Norman Frost, sister Betty Burks, brother-in-law Paul Burks and sister-in-law, Evelyn White Blue preceded her in death.

Graveside services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at Brick Chapel Cemetery with Mark Miller officiating.
