GHS golfers get win over Southmont

The Greencastle boys golf team scored a win over Southmont Thursday 177-185.

Brad Haussin was the GHS low scorer with a 40, followed by Wade Huber's 42. Jimmy Wheeler shot a 45, Tyler Hopkins a 50 and Luke Crimmins with a 52.

In the junior varsity match, Adam Jayne carded a 46 to lead the Tiger Cubs to a 206-233 win.

Raymond Stenson shot a 51, Derik Thomas shot a 54 and J.T. Hennette had a 55. Dakota Miller finished the night with a 60.

Greencastle is back in action at the Braves Invitational at Rea Park in Terre Haute Saturday at 10:40 a.m.
