Thief stole memories as well

To the Thief who helped themselves to all of my personal belongings from my truck in the middle of the night, on Fairway Drive:

I really hope you enjoy the camera. After 5 years my daughter had graduated from college and every memory of that event was on the camera, as I had just returned from the event. Those can never be replaced.

Did you really need a camera that badly?

The other items you took were also very personal to me; I really hope you never have something like this ever happen to you in your life. Maybe you should have walked up to the door and knocked, I would have provided you with whatever monetary value you may have gained from your bad deeds.
