Charles Earl Marsteller

Charles Earl Marsteller, 72, of Russellville died at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis on Tuesday, June 9, 2009.

He was born Dec. 27, 1936 in Russellville to Charles Almus and Geraldine Zoe Marsteller. He was a graduate of Russellville High School in 1954 and graduated from Indiana University with a business degree in 1958.

Mr. Marsteller was a certified public accountant for many years. He was a member of Russellville Community Church. He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He married Linda Gibbs on Nov. 27, 1965 in Indianapolis, and she survives. Other survivors include sons Scott Marsteller and wife Donna of Monticello, Ill. and Mike Marsteller and wife Tammy of Clayton; a daughter Jody Davies and husband Jody of Rockville; sisters Doris Carrington and husband Philip of Russellville, Charlene Krominaker and husband Chuck of Greencastle and Ruth Fulwider and husband John of Rockville; and five grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Russellville Community Church with the Rev. James Elliott officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery in Russellville.

Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.
