To the Editor:

On Saturday, June 6, the Greencastle Fire Department, along with title sponsor Carpenter's Union Local 859, held the 10th Annual GFD Golf Scramble at Old Hickory Golf Course to help raise money for the Hoosier Burn Camp. The Hoosier Burn Camp is held each year for children of ages 8 to 18 years of age that have been burned and hospitalized. The camp helps these children with their self-esteem, to develop new friendships, to be themselves without being judged, and to have lots of fun.

In accordance to the Greencastle Fire Department Golf Scramble, we would like to extend our many thanks to all the following sponsors: Carpenter's Union Local 859, AA Huber and Sons, B & R Fire, Buzzi Unicem USA, Cash Concrete, Certified Auto Exchange, Classic Flooring, Creative Cakes, Cunningham Insurance, Dave Roberts 622, Dr. Alfred Page Chiropractic, Elk's Lodge, Fred and Elaine Huber, Global Emergency Products, Graphic Shack, Greencastle McDonalds, HBG Insurance, Headley Hardware, Hendershot's Service Center, Hughes Safety, Indiana Fire Fighters Association, JTN Services, Mad Hatter Custom Design, Mayor Sue Murray, Moore's Bar, North Salem State Bank, Putnam Co. Family Support Services, Putnam Co. Prosecutor's Office, Putnam Co. Sheriff's Department, Renewed Performance, Stone's Auto Body and David and Amy Wells.
