Luke Stan Lovins, 21, of Cloverdale died Saturday, June 20, 2009.

He was born on Aug. 12, 1987. He was a 2006 graduate of Cloverdale High School, where he loved and played football, basketball and baseball. He was a member of Bethel Family Worship Center in Indianapolis. He was an instructor at Sandlot Ministries in Danville and he worked at Andy Mohr Chevy and J.C. Penny Department Store, both in Plainfield. He attended Anderson College and ISU in Terre Haute and was currently at Ivy Tech College.

Luke and his fiancée Erin Catherine Ford were engaged on earth and now share their marriage in the Heavenly Kingdom.

Luke is survived by his mother Tonda Renee Lovins; grandparents Stan T. and Nancy Ann (Portwood) Lovins; great-grandmother Laura Emma (Freece) Lovins; brothers Duke Terry Lovins and Link William Lovins; aunts Jodi (Shawn) Fetz, Chrissie (Chris) Barker, Bonnie Lovins and Tammy (Michael) Crisci; uncle Stanley (Camille) Lovins II, cousins Keira, Corey, Kyndra, Kyla, Kaitlyn, Ben, Jack and Isaiah.

A victory celebration of life for Luke will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lakeview Church, 47 Beachway Dr., Indianapolis, IN 46224. Burial will be in West Ridge Park Cemetery.

Calling will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Bethel Family Worship Center, 24 South Lynhurst Dr., Indianapolis, IN 46241.

In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make contributions to the Sandlot Ministries, C/O Luke Lovins Trust Fund, 2949 East Main Street Danville, IN 46112.
