Margaret R. Miller

Margaret R. Miller, 78, of rural Putnam County, passed away unexpectedly, July 8, 2009 at her residence.

She was born in Parke County, May 7, 1931 to Clarence A. and Merle R. (Helton) Miller. Miss. Miller attended Mansfield school and graduated from Bridgeton High School with the class of 1949. Following high school she enlisted in the United States Marine Corps being honorably discharged in 1954. She worked as a production planner at Borden Milk and Ice Cream Dairy in Indianapolis for 41 years. She and her friend Molly E. Crosley enjoyed farming in Putnam County. They raised cattle and farmed several acres of grain. She will be remembered as a devoted daughter and a loyal friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents and close friend Molly E. Crosley.

Survivors include two cousins Marilyn Daniel and husband John and Robert Miller and wife Linda as well as several extended family members.

Graveside services will be at Clear Run Cemetery in Bridgeton, Tuesday July 14, 2009 at 1:00pm. Lawson-Miller Chapel has been entrusted with her care. Visit www.lawson-millerchapel.com to light a candle in her memory.
