Margie I. Wilson

Margie I. Wilson, 81, Greencastle, died Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Hendricks Regional Health, Danville.

Born Jan. 15, 1928 in Madison Township of Putnam County, she was the daughter of Jess and Irene (Gleason) Richardson.

She married Edgar C. Wilson on May 11, 1946 and he preceded her in death on Jan. 7, 2009.

Mrs. Wilson had retired from P.R. Mallorys in Greencastle; she had previously worked at the Greencastle Coca Cola plant.

Survivors include her sons, Dewayne Wilson of Carmel and Paul Wilson and wife, Mickie of Greencastle; a sister, Clara Wilbur of Greencastle; three brothers, Dennis Wayne Richardson of California, Earl Andrew Wilson of Greencastle, and Floyd Merl Richardson and wife, Donna of Monrovia; five grandchildren, Kevin Wilson, Tammy Durbin, Amanda Patterson, Christy Wilson and Jessica Wilson; a great-granddaughter, Layla Pruitt.

Her parents, husband and a brother John L. Richardson preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Small officiating. Burial will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
