Putnam County Jail

Stephen Schmidt, 58, Indianapolis, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 2:05 a.m. Thursday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Connie Grimsley, 45, Greencastle, was booked at 12:38 p.m. Thursday for operating a vehicle while suspended, failing to stop after an accident, reckless driving and operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 or greater.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

Hillary Salyers of Roachdale was traveling south on CR 500E near Roachdale at 7 a.m. Friday, when an unknown vehicle struck her vehicle. The second vehicle left the scene of the accident.

There was an estimated $750 to $1,000 in damages.
