Marguerite C. Gough

Marguerite C. Gough, 65, of North Vernon, died along with her husband on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009 at their residence.

Born Sept. 4, 1944 in Manhattan, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late William and Lena Fella Hrabar. She later married Gregg Gough in New York.

Mrs. Gough was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking, needlepoint and loved animals.

She is survived by her daughter Maria Mauer of Greensburg; son Tom Gough of North Vernon; brother John Hrabar of Brooklyn, N.Y.; sister Alicia J. Hrabar of Colorado; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral Home. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society or the Friends of the Jennings County Public Library.
