Greencastle Parks Department hosts 'What's That Bug?'

Thursday, October 1, 2009

GREENCASTLE -- The Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department would like to invite the public to Jaycee Park for an afternoon of hunting and identifying bugs. The "What's That Bug?" event will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 9. The cost is $15.

Several students and 4-H need to collect bugs for projects; scouts need to work on nature, collecting and outdoor badges; and some people just want to know more about bugs.

The event will feature books, experts and supplies on hand to find bugs, identify the bugs, and show how to mount and display them.

Pre registration is suggested.
