John Slagmolen

John Slagmolen, 47, died at Largo Medical Center in Largo, Fla. on Tuesday Oct. 13, 2009.

He was born on Oct. 18, 1961 in Salt Lake City, Utah and graduated Lincoln High School in Stockton, Calif.

Mr. Slagmolen's profession was an electrician as well as working at Leer in Greencastle.

He is survived by his wife Tina Slagmolen of Largo; stepson Michael Nauman and wife Amy of Plainfield; grandsons Anthony and Alex of Plainfield; two sisters, Nell Watkins of Lodi, Calif. and Louisa Slagmolen of Antioch, Calif.; and one brother, Harry DeMill and wife Della of Concord, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his father Johannes DeMill and his mother Louisa Antonia DeMill, who came to the United States from Holland.

John will be best remembered for his love of his family, friends and the good times he had with them, as well as his love for music.
