Putnam County Jail

Thomas Steinmetz, 38, Indianapolis, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 5:11 a.m. Friday for petition to revoke probation.

Keith Rogers, 31, Greencastle, was booked at 10:34 a.m. Friday for trespassing and mischief.

Gregory Grigsby, 24, Brazil, was booked at 1:16 p.m. Friday for petition to revoke probation.

Joe Davison, 30, Greencastle, was booked at 2:54 p.m. Friday for failure to register as a sex offender.

Angela Carter, 36, Greencastle, was booked at 5:45 p.m. Friday for failure to appear.

Jason Sturgeon, 27, Indianapolis, was booked at 6:08 p.m. Friday for petition to revoke probation.

Loyce Williams, 22, Indianapolis, was booked at 6:32 p.m. Friday for operating a vehicle with a suspended license.

James Barnett, 48, Gosport, was booked at 12:18 a.m. Saturday for operating a vehicle in violation of a restricted driver's license.

Corey Duff, 32, Greencastle, was booked at 1:18 a.m. Saturday for violation of probation and domestic battery.

Thomas Roddy, 41, Greencastle, was booked at 10:49 p.m. Saturday for public intoxication.

Andrew O'Hair, 21, Greencastle, was booked at 12:04 a.m. Sunday for public intoxication.

Meghann Pogue, 19, Greencastle, was booked at 1:13 a.m. Sunday for public intoxication and possessing alcohol as a minor.

Norman McClintock, 40, Indianapolis, was booked at 2:18 a.m. Sunday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, public intoxication and operating per se.

James Surber, 39, Lebanon, was booked at 3:26 a.m. Sunday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating per se.

James Noland Jr., 56, Fillmore, was booked at 3:59 a.m. Sunday for operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol level of .15 or more and public intoxication.

Mark Fugate, 47, Roachdale, was booked at 4:57 p.m. Sunday for false reporting or informing and dealing in a scheduled four controlled substance.

Ashley Osborne, 28, Cloverdale, was booked at 9:08 p.m. Sunday for petition to revoke probation.

Brian Deis, 23, Indianapolis, was booked at 1:28 a.m. Monday for possession of paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Stephen Schroeder, 32, Bloomington, was booked at 1:27 p.m. Monday for petition to revoke probation.

Ricky Hagan, 32, Greencastle, was booked at 10:14 p.m. Monday for out of state warrant.

Alysha Bettis, 19, Cloverdale, was booked at 12:28 p.m. Tuesday for violation of home detention.

Dean Knight, 18, Cloverdale, was booked at 2:08 p.m. Tuesday for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

Shirl Davies of Greencastle backed into a parked vehicle at a private residence on North Jackson Street. The accident occurred at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday. There was an estimated $750 to $1,000 in damages.

Richard Shrout of Greencastle was traveling north on US 231 near Greencastle at 6:42 a.m. Tuesday when his vehicle struck a deer. Shrout was not injured in the crash. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Jerry Brown of North Salem was traveling on CR 600E near Groveland at 6:54 a.m. Tuesday when his vehicle struck a deer. Brown was not injured in the crash. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Alisha Kimes of Fillmore was traveling on US 36E near Bainbridge at 2:27 a.m. Oct. 13 when her vehicle "apparently" left the road, struck a culvert and went airborne before landing upright and striking a railroad crossing sign, the accident report stated.

Bainbridge Fire Department assisted at the scene. Kimes was transported to Hendricks Regional Hospital for medical treatment. Jerry's Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

David Laux of Danville was traveling on US 36W near Morton at 9:53 p.m. Oct. 28 when his vehicle struck a deer. Laux was not injured in the crash. Minks Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Charlene Long of Clay City was traveling on US 40W near Putnamville at 6:35 a.m. Sunday when her vehicle struck a deer. Her vehicle was not towed. There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

Rickie Cartwright Jr., of Coatesville was traveling on CR 550E near Fillmore at 5:30 a.m. Saturday when his vehicle left the road for unknown reasons and struck a bridge abutment.

When investigating officers arrived at the scene, there was the smell of alcohol on Cartwright, the accident report stated. He was given a chemical test at Putnam County Hospital and showed blood alcohol level of .14, the report said.

Seniours Wrecker Service towed Cartwright's vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $10,001 to $25,000 in damages.

Joshua Carlson of Dana was traveling on US 231N near Brick Chapel at 4:26 p.m. Friday, when he attempted to slow for stopped traffic and his vehicle slid on the wet pavement before striking the back of a semi-tractor trailer.

Carlson's vehicle was not towed from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Marilyn Bennett of Cloverdale was traveling on US 231S near Cloverdale at 7:25 a.m. Friday when her vehicle began sliding on wet pavement and she lost control. The vehicle then left the road and rolled several times before coming to rest upright.

Operation Life transported Bennett to Putnam County Hospital with complaint of neck, back and chest pains. Steele's Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Michelle Moore of Cloverdale was traveling west on SR 42 near Cloverdale at 7:47 p.m. Oct. 29 when her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Moore was transported to Putnam County Hospital.

Steele's Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Samantha O'Conner of Fillmore was traveling north on US 231 near Greencastle at 3:32 p.m. Oct. 29 when a tractor-trailer made a sudden stop causing her vehicle to strike the back of the it.

Jerry's Wrecker Service towed the O'Conner's vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Greencastle Police Department

Cheyanne Maddox, 18, Greencastle, was traveling west on Poplar Street at 3:44 p.m. Saturday when she pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by Joshua Kolling, 29, of Greencastle, which was traveling south on Vine Street. The impact caused Kolling's vehicle to spin 180 degrees and strike a parked vehicle owned by Lorrie Lattanzio of Greencastle.

There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Lyle Pringle, 41, Clayton, was east on US 240E at 7:42 p.m. Sunday when his vehicle struck a deer. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

The following tickets were issued by the Greencastle Police Department:

James Hanger Jr., 55, Indianapolis, was stopped on Avenue E at 2:45 p.m. Saturday and cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended license.

Christopher Campbell, 33, Greencastle, was stopped on North Jackson Street at 9:25 p.m. Saturday and cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended license with prior.

Darin Goins, 42, Greencastle was stopped on US 231N at 7:06 p.m. Sunday and cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended license.

Kristen A. Rumple, 24, Quincy, was stopped on Fillmore Road at 5:10 p.m. Sunday and cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended license.

Krystal McFadden, 22, Greencastle, was stopped on East Franklin Street at 8:14 p.m. Sunday and cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended license.
