Putnam County Jail

Richard Ruble, 33, Laurel, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 4:52 a.m. Monday for petition to revoke probation.

Donald Lowe III, Reelsville, was booked at 4:20 p.m. Monday for theft, auto theft and burglary.

Falene Cotten, 42, Crawfordsville, was booked at 11:35 a.m. Tuesday for violation of probation.

Christen Walton, 25, Cloverdale, was booked at 3:07 p.m. Tuesday for contempt of court.

Julius Blassingame, 28, Indianapolis, was booked at 12:25 a.m. Wednesday for reckless driving, B misdemeanor.

Louise Heiney, 53, Fillmore, was booked at 9 p.m. Wednesday for refusal to submit to a chemical test, operating a vehicle while intoxicated and public intoxication.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

Jordan Holderfield of Coatesville was traveling east on CR 300N near Fillmore at 5:55 p.m. Saturday, and a vehicle driven by Anthony Burnett of Fillmore traveling west met on a hill resulting in a sideswipe on the driver's side of both vehicles.

Holderfield's vehicle veered to the right and off the roadway. Burnett's vehicle also left the road, traveled along an embankment before it overturned several times. It continued west, struck a power pole and slid on its top for several feet before coming to rest upright.

Jerry's Wrecker Service towed Holderfield's vehicle from the scene. Seniour's Wrecker Service towed Burnett's vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

Timothy Donahue of Fishers was traveling on Interstate 70E near Cloverdale at 6:06 p.m. Nov. 5 when his vehicle drifted from the roadway and he overcorrected, causing his vehicle to collide with a vehicle driven by Terry Durham of Mooresville.

Donahue and Durham's vehicles then struck a vehicle driven by Kirt Banister of Lisdon, Ohio. No injuries were reported. Curtis' Wrecker Service towed all vehicles from the scene.

Leanna Swearingen of Cloverdale was traveling north on US 231S near Greencastle at 4:52 p.m. Nov. 6 when a vehicle driven by Diana Devylder of Quincy pulled into her path of travel.

Devylder was cited for driving with a suspended license and no auto insurance. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Jeffrey Barnett of Greencastle was traveling east on SR 240 at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, when his vehicle struck a deer, which shattered the windshield. Barnett was not injured.

There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to 408 S. Locust St. at 11:06 a.m. Tuesday for a fire alarm. They were disregarded before leaving the station and back in service at 11:09 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 1542 S. Bloomington St. at 2:11 p.m. Tuesday, but were disregarded before leaving the station. They were back in service at 2:11 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 106 S. Spring St. at 6:13 p.m. Tuesday, but were disregarded before leaving the station. They were back in service 6:14 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to Humbert Hall, 208 E. Olive St., at 4:37 p.m. Wednesday for a fire alarm. They were back in service at 4:53 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to the intersection of SR 240W and US 231 at 5:34 p.m. Wednesday for a vehicle accident. They were back in service at 5:51 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 426 W. CR 700S in Putnamville at 2:56 a.m. Thursday for mutual aid with Cloverdale Fire Department on a single-story home fire. They were back in service at 5 a.m.
