Mary M. Riggle

Mary Martha Riggle, 92, of Roachdale died at Brownsburg Meadows on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009.

She was born on Oct. 1, 1917 to Alvin E. and Mary Edith Stevens Ford. She married Richard D. "Buck" Riggle on Sept. 19, 1947 in Newport, and he passed away on Nov. 2, 2008.

Mrs. Riggle attended the Roachdale Presbyterian Church and was co-owner of Riggle Repair and Upholstery Shop in Roachdale from 1962 to 1981.

Survivors include four sons David Gatlin and wife Brigitte of Crawfordsville, Danny Westbrook and wife Diane of Ft. Mill, S.C., Ron Riggle and wife Donna of Rochester and Charley Riggle and wife Phyllis of Roachdale; daughter Kathy Westbrook Collings and husband Gary of Zionsville; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Her son Tom Gatlin preceded her in death.

Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Servies & Morgan Funeral Home in Roachdale with the Rev. Alan Small officiating. Burial will be in Roachdale Cemetery following services. Calling will be Saturday from noon to time of service.
