Dorothy Neeley

Dorothy A. "Grandma" (Schroeder) Neeley, 93, of Greencastle passed away Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009 at Asbury Towers in Greencastle. Dorothy was born Oct. 19, 1916 in Terre Haute,the daughter of Elmer and Edna (Strong) Schroeder.

She did general office work for insurance companies and H & R Block in Indianapolis. She was a graduate of Ben Davis High School class of 1934.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Janella Malicoat and her husband Don of Greencastle; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and her sister, Delores Joan Schroeder of Indianapolis.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Crafton Neeley; parents; sons, John and James Neeley; and a grandson, Patrick Neeley.

Private services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the Hendricks Regional Health Foundation, 1000 E. Main St. Danville, IN 46122.
