Carolyn S. Buchanan

Carolyn S. Buchanan, 75, of Coatesville died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009.

She was born in Indianapolis on Oct. 8, 1934, the daughter of Edgar and Sarah Leerkamp Pridemore.

Mrs. Buchanan was a school bus driver for the Mill Creek school system for 37 years. She was a 1953 graduate of Amo High School and attended New Maysville Community Church.

Survivors include her husband Brady Buchanan; sons Mike Buchanan and wife Renee of Danville, Larry Buchanan of Sommerset, Ky. and John Buchanan and wife Melissa of Fillmore; seven grandchildren; mother Sarah Pridemore of Indianapolis; and sister Marjorie Hurt of Stilesville.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hays Funeral Home in Coatesville. Burial will be in Stilesville Cemetery.
