More H1N1 clinics coming this month
The Putnam County Health Department, in partnership with Putnam County Hospital, will conduct H1N1 flu vaccine clinics each Wednesdays during the month of January.
Clinics will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. Jan. 13; from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 20; and 1 to 7 p.m. Jan. 27 at the medical office building at PCH. The vaccine will be available to anyone on a walk-in basis. Both the H1N1 "nasal mist" vaccine and "shot" vaccine will be available during these clinics.
PCHD would like to remind parents of children under the age of 9, who have received an initial H1N1 vaccine, as second dose is required in order for the vaccine to be fully effective.
