The Putnam County Sheriff's Department has reported the following recent accidents:

* Kimberly K. Flannelly of Bainbridge was traveling north on C.R. 200E near Bainbridge at 6:23 p.m. Monday when she lost control of her vehicle, left the roadway and struck a utility pole.

Flannelly drove her vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

*Callie M. Fehr of Coatesville was traveling south on C.R. 725E at 7:04 p.m. Monday when a vehicle driven by Jessica K. Keith of Greencastle struck the back of her vehicle.

Neither vehicle was towed from the scene. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

* Robert K. Phillips of Brazil was driving a semi-tractor trailer registered to Brazil-based lumber company Timberland on U.S. 40 at 8:05 a.m. Monday when a piece of lumber fell from the truck and struck the windshield of a vehicle driven by Carl J. Conley Jr. of Poland.

No injuries were reported and neither vehicle was towed from the scene. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

* Carie A. Hardman of Center Point was traveling on U.S. 40 near Reelsville at 5:54 a.m. Tuesday when she lost control of her vehicle due to icy road conditions. Her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.

No injuries were reported and her vehicle was not towed. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

* Carol L. Allee of Greencastle was traveling on U.S. 40 near Reelsville at 10 a.m. Tuesday when she lost control of her vehicle due to icy road conditions. Her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.

No injuries were reported and her vehicle was not towed. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

*Ken E. Moore of Greencastle was traveling on U.S. 231N near Fincastle at 6:40 a.m. Wednesday when his vehicle struck a deer.

Moore's vehicle was not towed from the scene. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

*Janice S. Hesler of Greencastle was traveling east on C.R. 75N near Greenbriar at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday when she lost control of her vehicle due to icy road conditions. Her vehicle spun across the westbound land before it left the roadway and struck several small trees.

Hesler complained of pain in her foot, but signed a medical release form offered by Operation Life. Greencastle Fire Department assisted at the scene. Jerry's Wrecker Service towed Hesler's vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

*Angela M. Sanders of Greencastle was traveling west on U.S. 36 near Bainbridge at 12:23 p.m. Tuesday when she stopped to make a turn and a vehicle driven by Joseph W. Phillips of Rockville struck the back of her vehicle.

Neither vehicle was towed from the scene. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

*Jessica L. Jordan of Cloverdale was traveling on Stardust Hills Road in Cloverdale at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday when her vehicle slid off the road due to icy road conditions. Her vehicle then struck a tree.

No injuries were reported. Steeles' Wrecker Service towed her vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

*Travis J. Thompson of Camby was traveling north on S.R. 243 near Cloverdale at 8:45 p.m. Monday when his vehicle slid off the road and into a ditch due to the road being covered with snow and ice.

Thompson stated he struck his head on the driver's window during the crash. Operation Life transported him to Putnam County Hospital.

Steeles' Wrecker Service removed Thompson's vehicle from the ditch. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Putnam County Jail

*George A. Dunlap, 23, Indianapolis, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 3:26 p.m. Wednesday for operating a vehicle with a suspended license.

* George F. Altes, 31, Indianapolis, was booked at 3:49 p.m. Wednesday for failure to appear.

* Kevin L. Scroggin, 41, Greencastle, was booked at 11:11 a.m. Thursday for failure to appear.

Greencastle Fire Department

*Crews were dispatched to 1432 W C.R. 125S at 11:27 a.m. Thursday for a motor vehicle accident.

*Crews were dispatched to 106 S. Spring St. at 1:36 p.m. Thursday, but were disregarded en route. They were back in service at 1:40 p.m.
