GMS 7th graders split with North Putnam

The Greencastle seventh grade A and B-team split with North Putnam recently. The A-team won 30-7, while the B-team lost 17-14.

The A-team was led by Jessica Lenihan with 10 points, followed by Callan Taylor with eight points and Sydney Stuckwisch with six. Sydney Smiley, Tera Amis, Delanie Stoltey all chipped in two points each.

Shay Lucas was North Putnam's scoring with five points. Josie Douglas chipped in two points.

In B-team action, Sammy Newcomer and Trinity Brown were top scorers with four points each, followed by Mary Parker Erica Hoagland with two points each.

McKenzie Miles led North Putnam with seven points each, followed by Kaylee Henniger with three and Samantha Freijie, Taylor Webster and Sabrina Surber with two points each. TyeAnn Strow added one point in the win.

GMS will be back in action against Tuttle Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
