Market and auction planned

VEEDERSBURG -- Local produce, baked goods, handmade crafts and other gift items will be for sale at the monthly Winter Market at the Fountain County 4-H Fairgrounds on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

The market is free and open to the public. Vendors that are interested in participating should contact Linda McGurk at (765) 299-2747.

The fairgrounds are located on U.S. Route 136 just west of Veedersburg.

In conjunction with the market, the Fountain County 4-H Council will hold a consignment auction featuring farm implements, tools, livestock equipment, lawn and garden tools, and more.

Consignments will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, and from 7 to 9 a.m. on Saturday.

The auction begins at 10 a.m. Saturday; concessions will be provided.
