Dolores Ruth Gorham Caldwell, 73, of Greencastle died at her residence in Zephyr Hills, Fla.

Born March 19, 1936 in Terre Haute, she was the daughter of Alexander H. and Minnie G. Farmer Irving. She was a 1954 graduate of Wiley High School in Terre Haute. She married Jesse Gorham in 1979 and he preceded her in death. She married Harvey Caldwell on June 21, 2007 and he preceded her in death on January 16, 2010.

Mrs. Caldwell had retired from Kroger in Greencastle, where she had been a dietician working in the bakery and deli. She had previously worked as food supervisor for the Heritage House and at the Angwell Curtain Factory.

Dolores was a member of the Daughters of the Nile, Terre Haute; the Women of the Moose; Eagles Lodge; Better Homes and Gardens Home Ec Club; and the Somerset Christian Church, all of Greencastle.

Survivors include her children, Deborah Whitaker and husband Clyde of Clinton Falls, Janet Miller and husband David of West Palm Beach, Fla., Gary Grassick and wife Surita of Greencastle and Thomas Grassick of Greencastle; a brother, Paul Irving and wife Sarah of Rockford, Ill.; eight grandchildren, Charity Aton, David (Patty) Whitaker, Matthew Whitaker, Candance Whitaker, Amanda Kay Grassick Woods, Desiree Nicole Grassick, Meghan Miller and Audrey Miller; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; a brother, Richard Irving; and a grandson, Thomas Grassick Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home with a Women of the Moose Lodge Memorial Service to begin the services at 1 p.m.
