GMS 7th graders split with Tuttle

GREENCASTLE -- The Greencastle seventh grade girls' basketball team split with Tuttle Tuesday. The A-team fell short 36-25, while the B-team won 17-8.

Jessica Lenihan led the way for the A-team with 11 points, followed by Sydney Stuckwisch with five points and Callan Taylor with four. Sydney Smiley chipped in three points, with Delanie Stoltey adding two points.

In the B-team contest, Sammy Newcommer led a balanced attack with four points. Taylor Stoltey scored four, with Marlee Nichols, Breanna Ferrand, Trinity Brown, Delanie Stoltey and Kayce Kean adding two points each.

The teams will battle North Clay on the road tonight at 6 p.m.
