GREENCASTLE -- The red carpet was rolled out to welcome the legendary resident celebrities at Mill Pond Health Campus in Greencastle on March 12.

This "Walk of Fame" event was one of the campus' quarterly themed events which are specially planned for the campus residents.

The menu featured a dinner fit for Hollywood's A-list, and included: Crab Cakes Royale, Soup "Oscar," Beef Wellington, Star Inspired Dessert and an Academy selection of coffee and teas.

Decorations such as life-size celebrity cut-outs for the residents to have their photos taken with, red carpet for the residents to walk, and Oscar statuettes on each table were used to create a star-studded spectacular for campus residents.

The party extended beyond Friday night as the week leading up to the "Walk of Fame" soiree featured a pre-show of special programming and activities that tied in to the Hollywood theme including Hollywood star hand prints and classic movie trivia.

"The residents were true stars and enjoyed their celebrity status to the fullest," said Jessica Crafton, executive director of Mill Pond Health Campus. "Our residents really appreciated the special menu and decorations and our staff had a wonderful time preparing for the event. We are already looking forward to our next themed dinner."

"It was really nice and exciting," stated Ann Cook, resident of Mill Pond Health Campus. "My favorite part was the steak."

Vivian Madden, president of resident council, said, "It was so nice to see everyone all dressed up for the evening."
