Putnam County Jail

Charles A. Brousard, 26, Greencastle, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 2:10 p.m. Wednesday for petition to revoke probation.

Zachery I. Blackwell, 23, Crawfordsville, was booked at 3:34 p.m. Wednesday for robbery.

Billy T. Wilburn, 41, Brazil, was booked at 3:01 a.m. Thursday for false reporting or informing, public intoxication and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Kenneth G. Pingleton, 32, Bainbridge, was booked at 10:18 a.m. Thursday for failure to appear.

David A. Custis, 29, Fillmore, was booked at 12:27 p.m. Thursday for criminal confinement and intimidation.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

Amanda L. Routh of Cloverdale was traveling south on US 231 at 1:35 p.m. Friday, when her vehicle struck two mailboxes and a utility pole before coming to a stop on the shoulder of the roadway.

Routh stated she did not remember how the crash occurred. The accident report stated tire marks indicated Routh's vehicle left the west side of the road, struck and ran over a mailbox, continued over the residential driveway, struck a utility, snapping it in half, struck a second mailbox and reentered the roadway before crossing both lanes and coming to a stop.

Routh didn't complain of pain at the scene. Steele's Wrecker Service towed her vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

John T. Hopwood of Reelsville was traveling south on CR 450W near Manhattan at 2:39 p.m. Wednesday, when a vehicle driven by Herbert A. Wall of Reelsville pulled into his path from a residential driveway.

There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Greencastle Police Department

Jordan K. Phillips of Greencastle was stopped at the stop sign at Washington and Vine streets at 3:45 p.m. April 2, but stated his view was obstructed by parked cars and waited for the stoplight to turn red before entering the intersection.

Herbert B. Blanton of Cloverdale was traveling east on Washington Street when Phillips' vehicle pulled into his path of travel. Blanton denied medical treatment at the scene, but was later seen by hospital staff.

Angela Weeks, a passenger in Herbert's vehicle, complained of shoulder and abdominal pain. Operation Life transported her to Putnam County Hospital.

There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Nicholas Buskirk of Greencastle was stopped at the stop sign at Maple Avenue and Bloomington Street at 4:20 p.m. April 2. When he attempted to cross into Robe-Ann Park his vehicle struck a vehicle driven by James Neumann of Greencastle, traveling north on Bloomington.

Beverly Neumann, a passenger in Neumann's vehicle, complained of head and neck pain. She was later transported to the hospital by a relative, the report stated.

Cory Fordice was stopped in traffic on Indianapolis Road at 4:11 p.m. Sunday, when a motorcycle operated by Russell Burton of Bainbridge struck the back of his vehicle.

Burton was ejected from the 2006 Yamaha motorcycle and sustained facial injuries. Operation Life transported him to the hospital.

There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

The following tickets were issued by GPD:

Bryan Allen, 35, Greencastle, was stopped on Depot Street at 8 a.m. Wednesday and cited for wrong direction on a one way.

Paul Sanders, 20, Greencastle, was stopped on Bloomington Street at 3:08 p.m. Thursday and cited for speeding -- 48 mph in a 30 mph zone.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to 1128 Avenue D at 11:10 a.m. Thursday for a lift assist. They were back in service at 11:21 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 309 S. Indiana St. at 6:05 p.m. Thursday for an alarm, but were disregarded before leaving the station. They were back in service at 6:07 p.m.
